Equality

In my classroom there will be equality for all. I will not look at color, ethnic background, social class, or anything else that may hinder the equal education of anyone. I will expect my students to be the same way. We are all here for the chance of education and anything else will be unacceptable!

Make It Fun!

I am a firm believer in education being a privilege. Not everyone gets the chance to have a good education. So lets make it fun to have and keep students interested in what they are learning. I will have games to play and also movies that are on subject but also that students will enjoy watching.

Using Coaching Methods to Teach!

I will also be coaching, so I plan on using the methods of coaching for teaching. In my classroom we will practice team-work to accomplish a task. I will also try to give my students a game plan for learning and what I expect them to know.

Websites

I will have students use websites to learn current events. Since I will be teaching history I would like my students to know what the history of the world has created and why it is so important.

Blogs to Help Students

I believe teacher blogs, for students are very important. It is an easy, effective way for students to keep up with assignments. Also, the parents can check my blog and learn a little about who is teaching their child. For teachers it can be a good way to make changes if needed for assignments. I think it would be a good idea for students to also create a blog for themselves.
